Join us with other parents from the Mitchell Elementary school to get a better understanding of Google Meet and how you can use it to make cooperative learning a success in your home. Let’s face it no matter the decision for how school will look like for the 2020-2021 school year the Google Suite is now in your life forever and I am sure distance learning will be part of your home in some capacity.
Attend this one time session to learn all you need to know in Google Meet. This will help you be successful when assisting your student in a classroom Google Meets and also give you the skill set to host your own Google Meet. By learning how to host your own Google Meet you can then move forward with setting up Cooperative Learning in your home. Get your tribe involved in your students learning! Set up a Google Meet and have nana, a neighbor or any trusted older student or adult help you out with your child's learning through the interaction of Google Meet.
Whether you are choosing to keep your kids home next year, waiting for the state to make the decision or want to learn more about how to be successful with distance learning before making a decision on your child’s status with returning to school, this session will make you feel better moving into the 2020-2021 school year.
